OCD and Me, 9.35pm RTÉ One

OCD is the third most common concern reported to St Patrick's mental-health support services in Dublin and The World Health Organisation lists it as one of the 10 most debilitating illnesses on the planet. Jacob Billsborough (pictured with examples of his OCD art) is a 25-year-old Dublin artist whose daily existence is dominated by his battle with OCD. His mother, Mella, also lives with her own form of OCD. Meanwhile, Eileen lives in Sligo town and has lived with her OCD for the last 50 years - she says it has destroyed her life. If she does certain rituals she believes it will prevent terrible things from happening to people in her family. Meanwhile, Simon is a 32-year-old Dubliner who works for a radio station. Simon brings the programme-makers to a street where he was convinced he caused a road accident. However, he also visits St Patrick's Hospital where his life was transformed.

Football Focus: Transfer Deadline Day Special, 11.10pm BBC One

Dan Walker rounds up all the major transfer deadline day moves, with news and reaction from around the UK. After months of speculation, top-flight clubs have until 11.00pm tonight to strengthen their squads, and invariably many transfers will only be resolved at the last minute. Twelve months ago Manchester United spent £37.1m to bring Juan Mata (pictured) to Old Trafford from Premier League rivals Chelsea, who in turn spent £21m to bring midfielder Nemanja Matic back to west London, having sold him three years earlier.

The Internet's Own Boy : Storyville, 10.00pm BBC 4

This intriguing documentary follows the story of programming prodigy and information activist Aaron Swartz. From Swartz's help in the development of the basic internet protocol RSS to his co-founding of Reddit, his fingerprints are all over the internet. But it was Swartz's ground-breaking work in social justice and political organizing, combined with his aggressive approach to information access that ensnared him in a two-year legal nightmare. It was a battle that ended with him taking of his own life at the age of 26. Aaron's story touched a nerve with people far beyond the online communities in which he was a celebrity. This film is a personal story about what we lose when we are tone deaf about technology and its relationship to our civil liberties.Picture shows film-maker Brian Knappenberger who made the critically-acclaimed The Internet's Own Boy.
