Bella Thorne has signed up for the new Lifetime TV movie Perfect High.
The Wrap reports that the Shake It Up! star will play a high school dancer named Amanda, who begins taking prescription painkillers after injuring her knee.
She falls into the wrong crowd and is later tricked into taking heroin disguised as cheap painkillers and becomes addicted to the drug.
Israel Broussard, Daniela Bobadilla and Ross Butler will also star in the movie.
Thorne was recently announced to have joined Ryan Murphy's comedy-horror series Scream Queens. She will play Drew Barrymore's character from the Scream TV series.
