LIVE! Irish music is taking over the South By SouthWest Festival (SXSW) today and TEN are streaming all the action from Austin Texas right now!
SXSW is a mammoth Interactive, Film and Music industry festival that takes place annually in Austin, Texas.
It is the perfect place for new and upcoming bands to make deals and push themselves into the next stage of their career. About 2000 bands are playing in the festival throughout March including a string of Irish acts who take to the stage later today.
About 300,000 people will visit the festival which also features films, workshops, conferences, interactive demonstrations to name but a few things on the jam-packed schedule.
Taoiseach Enda Kenny stopped by last week and music superstars like Jay Z and Kanye are also regular visitors.
