Moone Boy enters the early nineties and the clothes are still rubbish (Sky1); the new series of Gliondar on RTÉ One looks at women who weigh tlift; and new 1960s western Vegas begins on RTÉ One - here's out top telly for tonight!
Moone Boy, Sky1, 9.00pm
Series three of the misadventures of one boy from rural Ireland and his grown-up imaginary friend is entitled Where the Streets Do Have Names and this season comes with a famous cameos including Sir Terry of Wogan. In tonight's opening episode, Martin Moone's parents Liam (Peter McDonald) and Debra (Deirdre O'Kane) abandon the kids and head to the sunny south east on a romantic getaway to celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary. Their peaceful retreat soon goes awry, however, following a chance encounter with Liam's old flame Sharon Morgan (guest star Sharon Horgan). Meanwhile, Martin and Padraic spend the weekend in Dublin, or the "windy city of Angels" as it's known to them - they're not the best at geography.
Gliondar, RTÉ One, 7.30pm
In the first episode of this new series of Gliondar, reporter Sinéad Ní Churnáin meets Irish women who are passionate about power lifting and break all the stereotypes associated with it. PR executive Emma Scott and beautician Sharon Conroy show us how they balance their glamorous jobs with gruelling training regimes and workouts.

Vegas, RTÉ One, 11.15pm
With a cast featuring Dennis Quaid, Carrie-Anne Moss, Irishman and Paul Newman lookalike Jason O'Mara and Michael Chiklis this new western drama could be one to watch. Inspired by the real life story of Las Vegas Sheriff Ralph Lamb, Quaid is in the lead role as a rancher who reluctantly accepts the job of sheriff in 1960s Las Vegas. He now has the authority to take on the mobsters looking to cash in on the casinos and he soon clashes with Chicago mobster Vincent Savino (Chiklis), the new general manager and muscle at the Savoy, the swankiest casino on the strip. Expect some real mad men in this one.
