One Direction have given their first interview since Zayn Malik's departure from the band and they have said they are "determined to carry on stronger than ever" without him.
Speaking to The Sun, Liam said, "We're gutted Zayn chose to leave. But now after a few performances as a four-piece, we feel confident and determined to carry on stronger than ever."
Harry added that they are looking forward to producing their next studio album, "It's very exciting to be working on our fifth album."
