Texas front woman Sharleen Spiteri reveals she turned down an offer to join the coaching panel on The Voice of Ireland.
Spiteri, who is celebrating 25 years with the Scottish rock band this year, has revealed that she was asked to be a coach on The Voice of Ireland this year.
Speaking to the Irish Independent Spiteri said: "Well, I was asked to do it. I said no.
"I get asked to do those sort of programmes all the time, and I'm like 'I don't really want to do TV, it's not really my thing'".
Spiteri also revealed that she would have been a hairdresser if she had not joined Texas.
She said: "I was such a good hairdresser. I was on the artistic team and I used to travel to New York, Italy and France to do shows, so it was pretty glamorous.
But are you f***ing joking? Would I want to go back to hairdressing? Not a f***ing hope in hell!"
