Kevin Bacon heads the cast in this intriguing new drama - created by Scream writer Kevin Williamson - as Ryan Hardy, an FBI agent called out of early retirement to lead a manhunt.
Years earlier Hardy saved a young doctor from murderer Joe Carroll (James Purefoy), but now the college professor-turned-killer has broken out of prison and is looking to finish what he started.
As Hardy races to determine Carroll's next move, he discovers that the killer's grisly game is only just beginning. Accessing the Internet from prison, Carroll has built up an army of online devotees.
Ranging from suburban couples to friendly police officers, they are the bloody foot soldiers of an evil scheme that has brought Hardy out of retirement to try and outwit the evil Carroll and his 'following'.
The Following begins on Sky Atlantic tonight (Tuesday) at 10.00pm.
