Singer Josh Groban is to play Sarah Michelle Gellar's love interest in new sitcom The Crazy Ones which also stars Robin Williams and features Kelly Clarkson in the pilot episode.
In the new show, the former slayer Gellar plays advertising executive Sydney who works together in an agency with her father Simon, a particularly anarchic Robin Williams.
Groban's character Richie is a figure from her past who comes back into her life. When Sydney mistakes his friendly gestures as romantic, Simon has to set the record straight.
Kelly Clarkson plays herself in the first episode which airs on CBS on September 26th.
