Kasey Smith takes to the red carpet in Copenhagen

Kasey Smith took to the red carpet last night (May 4) in Copenhagen for the Eurovision opening event.

The Irish Eurovision representative looked glamourous in a white cocktail dress which featured a plunging neckline and peplum detailing at the waist.

The Dublin singer posed alongside a number of other Eurovision hopefuls, including Austria's Conchita Wurst, the UK's Molly and Denmark's Basim.

At the weekend, Kasey and Can Linn met a group of Irish children from Rykaards International School who presented Kasey with pictures they had drawn for her.

She was touched by the gesture, commenting: "My god, I nearly started crying! They went to so much trouble making those... It was so lovely to hear the Irish accents in Copenhagen... a little piece of home."
