Australia unveils first ever Eurovision entry

Australia has unveiled the song that Guy Sebastian will be singing when he represents the country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015.

Guy Sebastian will perform Tonight Again in Vienna, Austria on May 23, where Australia will compete in the competition for the first time.

Sebastian was the first ever winner on Australian Idol back in 2003, and has gone on to release seven studio albums and serve as a judge on The X Factor Australia.

The country has been granted permission to enter Eurovision 2015 on a one-off basis to celebrate the contest's 60th anniversary and in recognition of the contest's popularity Down Under.

Australia has been given a free pass to the final along with five other countries (UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain), as well as host nation Austria.

Oddly enough, Ireland, with a record seven wins, has to qualify – but that's because of the country's poor performances in recent years.

Molly Sterling will represent Ireland at the 60th Eurovision Song Contest with her co-written entry Playing with Numbers.
