I Am Jesus, the short film which has Fair City star Sorcha Furlong (Orla) and her longtime co-star Sarah Flood (Suzanne) among its writers, has been submitted for consideration for screening at the Glastonbury Festival.
Furlong and Flood and their Smart Blondes Productions colleagues and co-writers Caroline Grace-Cassidy and Elaine O'Connor will find out whether the film has been selected in May.
Directed by Emmet Harte and produced by Park Pictures, I Am Jesus is described as exploring "the phenomena of 'following' and 'followers' through one man and a sandwich board".
The film premiered at last year's Galway Film Fleadh and has also been shown at festivals in San Francisco and Toronto.
Grace-Cassidy told TEN: "We are thrilled that our work is having such wide international success - as four working mothers with six kids between us it's always going to be a challenge, but our love of filmmaking makes it easy. The response to our work in the last two years has been amazing."
The four are currently in pre-production on their new film, Even Droids Have Friends.
