TEN's Sinead Brennan caught up with writer/director Nick Moran to talk about bringing his critically acclaimed film Telstar: The Joe Meek Story to the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival.
Telstar: The Joe Meek Story will screen as part of JDIFF in the Light House Cinema this evening, Wednesday March 25 at 6pm with writer/director Nick Moran in attendance.
While the film was released in the UK in 2008, this will be it's Dublin premiere and we spoke to him about bringing the movie to Ireland for the first time.
Moran said: "I'm so proud of it and I'm amazed we didn't get to show it in Ireland so I'm here to rectify that."
The 13th Jameson Dublin International Film Festival takes place until 29 March.
Festival highlights include Irish film Second Coming (Friday 27 March in Cineworld at 6.00pm), We Are Young, We Are Strong (Friday 27th March in Cineworld at 6.00pm)Melbourne (Friday 27 March at 6.00pm) Bertolucci On Bertolucci (Friday 27 March, Screen at 6.45pm) and Return To Ithaca in the Screen cinema (Friday 27th March at 9.15pm).
