There's been much speculation that BBC Radio 2 DJ, TV presenter and car nut is being lined up, but this morning on his show the former TFI Friday host emphatically denied he's in for the job.

The Girl: Jodie Kidd

Okay, she's a girl, but this model and TV presenter loves her classic cars and would certainly add to an already winning formula. Got to be a genuine contender as she ticks all the gear boxes.

The Bubbly: Stephen Fry

A certain UK tabloid (okay, The Star) has claimed that the BBC are looking to Stephen Fry. He's appeared twice on the show and like his cars, but he would be quite a cultural jump from Clarkson.
