Russell Brand has said that he has never dated Geri Halliwell.
The 37-year-old funnyman was linked to the It's Raining Men singer in August after reportedly connecting backstage at the 2012 Olympic Games closing ceremony.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper, Brand explained that he has always just been friends with the Spice Girl saying: "As for me and Geri, we are still friends - we were never anything but friends."
Brand, who divorced Wide Awake singer Katy Perry last year, also revealed that he isn't looking for a relationship anytime soon, adding: "I'm single at the moment actually and enjoying it. I'm trying not to roam the streets any more like the Terminator ....
"I suppose I'm concentrating on work now and not especially looking for anyone."
