Following his recent RTÉ 2fm interview, Broken City star Mark Wahlberg invited presenter Rick O'Shea to his Boston restaurant when he is broadcasting from the city for the St Patrick's bank holiday.
The 2fm show Rick in the Afternoon is travelling to Boston for St Patrick's Day ahead of a live broadcast on Monday March 18.
Speaking to RTÉ TEN, O'Shea said: "I have to say that the strangest offer I've ever gotten from an interview with a major celeb is one of dinner for me and the team on the show.
"We were talking about Wahlburgers, the restaurant he owns with his family in Boston... I said we were doing the show from there on St Patrick's weekend and he told us to tell whoever was in charge on the day that everything was on the house. Mental..."
