Cuckoo, an online drama that was originally part of RTÉ's Storyland series, has been nominated in the Best Online Drama category at the prestigious Webby Awards.
The Awards are judged by a panel of industry experts including David Bowie, Richard Branson, Darren Aronofsky, Arianna Huffington, Twitter co-founder Biz Stone, Mozilla CEO Mitchell Baker and Instagram co-founder Kevin Systrom.
Cuckoo will compete with four other dramas in the category including Tom Hanks' Electric City. The event takes place in New York on 21 May.
Cuckoo was directed by Danann Breathnach and written by Nikki Racklin and Danann Breathnach. It stars Pagan McGrath as a teenager who recognises herself in a digitally aged picture of a missing child.
