Derren Brown Investigates: The Man Who Contacts the Dead, 11.25pm Channel 4
The psychological illusionist Derren Brown (pictured) travels to Liverpool to investigate the world of Joe Power, a psychic medium who claims he can communicate with the dead. Joe alleges that one of the many people he has made contact with is Liverpool's own John Lennon. Why would John Lennon want to contact anyone and what on earth would he want wherever he is now? That's more my kinda question. But anyway, let's see what Joe Power can do.
Britain's Got Talent, 7.00pm, ITV; 8.30pm ITV 2
The moment we have all been waiting for, no, the first round of auditions? Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams return to your screens to find some kind of bankable talent. It's hard to avoid Ant and Dec (in your pic below) these days too, who are back as hosts of the bizarre jeer 'n sneer fest. Over on ITV 2, on Britain's Got More Talent, Stephen Mulhern gets all the gossip from the judges. He asks questions like who gets paid the least?; when they last Googled themselve; their first ever snog; and what they would do if they were to audition.
