From bleak drama on the Beeb to the tension of the US Masters and the financial fun and games of Dragons' Den, there's something for everyone on tonight's TV.
The Village, 9.00pm, BBC One
Grace worries when there is no news from her oldest son Joe from the front line. She is elated when he returns to the village on leave. However, Joe's return brings with it the unwelcome news of the village's first war casualty. George Allingham tells Martha that his sister Caro is pregnant. Clem and Edmund have already decided that she cannot keep the baby. Under the guidance of Edmund, Hankin opens the boot factory using cheap labour: Grace and the local women.
The Masters, 6.30pm, BBC Two/Sky Sports 1
Fingers crossed for a repeat of the nail-biting excitement of last year where American Bubba Watson ensured he was the man heading to the Butler Cabin to collect his green jacket after winning a play-off with Louis Oosthuizen. The left-handed American's incredible approach to the second play-off hole, from the trees to the right of the fairway, will live long in the memory. Two-time major winner and world No. 1, Rory McIlroy, will be hopefully be in the hunt on the final day's action.
Dragons' Den, 9.30pm, RTÉ One
Episode seven of season five of the popular 'money-meets-ideas' show features entrepreneurs from counties across the island, from Cork and Kerry, to Carlow, Dublin, Kildare and Fermanagh. But despite their different backgrounds and an age range from the early 30s to the late 60s they are all after one thing - the Dragons' cash - and with €180,000 invested some of these entrepreneurs definitely travelled home happy.
