Former EastEnders actor Sid Owen has announced that he plans to quit the UK and move to Hollywood.
Owen, who left the BBC One soap last year, enjoyed a recent holiday in Los Angeles so much that he now intends to buy a home there.
The 41-year-old also told The People that he is in the process of lining up some acting work in America.
"I love being in the States and I've been having lots of meetings," he said. "I'm just enjoying being over here. The weather is great and the people are friendly.
"I was just on holiday. But I've had a great time so I've been looking for a property."
