Daily Star Sunday reports that Lauren will try to make amends for her behaviour and apologises to ex-boyfriend Joey (David Witts) and former friends Whitney (Shona McGarty) and Lucy (Hetti Bywater).
However, things don't go entirely according to plan: Lauren's resolve is tested when she picks up a glass of vodka on a night out.
A source told the paper: "When no one is looking she goes outside and takes a gulp before spitting it out.
"She then bursts into tears as she realises how close she came to falling off the wagon."
"Lauren realises she needs to go to weekly sessions to help her through it," the source added.
