Majella O'Donnell is shaving her hair on tonight's episode of The Late Late Show in aid of charity.
The businesswoman and wife of singer Daniel O'Donnell is giving an exclusive interview to host Ryan Tubridy following her diagnosis with breast cancer.
She explained her motivation behind wanting to shave her hair live on The Late Late Show, saying: "I want to do this because I feel strongly that I am just one of thousands of people with this illness. I want to take control of the hair loss associated with my chemotherapy, which I start this Thursday, by deciding when and where to shave my head.
"Having spoken to Daniel, we agreed that we would like to use this as an opportunity to raise awareness and funds. We were both delighted when The Late Late Show and Ryan agreed to facilitate our request.
"Our aim is to raise as much money as we can. I would love it if anyone who would like to contribute to this most worthwhile cause, could start donating today." Also appearing on tonight's show are Irish politician Lucinda Creighton, impressionist Mario Rosenstock and YouTube sensation Seo Linn/Colaiste Lurgan.
