Orlando Bloom has spoken out about his split from model Miranda Kerr.
The celebrity couple announced their break-up on Friday (October 25), after six years together.
When asked by a TMZ photographer how he was feeling, the actor said: "It's all pretty good and stable. We're not friends. We're family."
After he was asked why they broke up, Bloom shook his head and said: "Life is a mystery, you know. It doesn't always work out the way you want, but it's all good."
The Lord of the Rings star began dating the Victoria's Secret Model in 2007 and they married in July 2010.
The couple are parents to two-year-old son Flynn, who was born on January 6, 2011.
Bloom and Kerr announced that they have been separated for several months via a spokesperson on Friday.
The spokesperson said: "In a joint statement, Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr have announced they have been amicably separated for the past few months. After six years together, they have recently decided to formalise their separation.
"Despite this being the end of their marriage, they love, support and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family."
