Stuart Townsend has been talking to RTÉ Ten about his latest role – starring in new US drama Betrayal.
The Dubliner plays Jack McAllister, a lawyer married into a powerful family who embarks on a love affair. Betrayal has its European debut next Tuesday (October 29) on RTÉ Two.
The series is currently being filmed on location in Chicago, but Townsend took time out from his busy schedule to talk to us about his latest role.
"He takes this big leap – which is, of course, stupid – it has repercussions that you'll see later on in the show," Townsend explains, when asked about Jack McAllister.
"But sometimes the heart just goes where it wants to go, and I think we can recognise that."
