Julia Roberts has admitted that she prides herself on being picky when it comes to choosing film roles, especially now that she is more mature.
The Oscar winning actress told the Los Angeles Times, "I think people like to say that I'm super-picky because of how much I love my kids. But as an actor, I sort of pride myself on the fact that I've always been picky."
She also added that she is more selective about what films she will star in because the kind of roles that used to work for her as a younger star, no longer suit, "There's a couple of things at play. For one, I'm 46 years old, so falling out of chairs isn't as funny. I could break a hip. Certain scenarios that worked 10 years ago aren't as appealing, as applicable, as believable, as original - all those things.''
Roberts can next be seen starring alongside Meryl Streep, Dermot Mulroney and Ewan McGregor in August: Osage County which is set for release on January 24, 2014.
