Acoustic rock maestros Rodrigo y Gabriela release 9 Dead Alive, their first album in five years, this Friday, April 25 and RTÉ Ten is offering you an exclusive chance to listen to it right here, right now.
9 Dead Alive was recorded and produced by Rod and Gab at their studio in Ixtapa, Mexico and sees the duo playing face to face, guitar versus guitar, bursting with melodic energy and rhythmic invention.
They play Dublin's National Concert Hall on June 24 and they've also have two sold-out nights in The Royal Albert Hall and also have a Glastonbury appearance coming up.
Rodrigo y Gabriela's last album of all new music was 2009's 11:11 and since then they have collaborated on the soundtracks to both Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Shores and Puss N' Boots. They also visited Havana to record the Area 52 album with a Cuban orchestra.
