One Direction star Niall Horan says he knows he's back in Ireland when he can smell cow dung. He has also laughed off suggestions that the band are set to make $1 billion on their upcoming world tour.
The 20-year-old from Mullingar lives in London and rarely gets to spend time back in Ireland but has said: "When I get off the plane and it smells like cow poo I know I'm home. Ireland (still) is 100pc (home)."
Speaking to Top of The Pops magazine about One Direction's 88-date Where We Are' tour, Horan laughed off suggestions that it would pull in up to €750 million.
"I read that too. If people are hiding money from us in offshore bank accounts than I want to know about it," he joked.
