The computer animated Lego Movie hit the top spot in Ireland for the first six months of the year, with The Wolf on Wall Street a close second and X-Men Days of Future Past coming in third.
The list of the top grossing movies in Ireland so far this year has just been released and you may be surprised by some of the entries.
Who would have thought college comedy Bad Neighbours would beat the Oscar winning 12 Years A Slave? Or Spiderman have more people paying for a ticket than Disney sensation Frozen (we hear some kids have been to see it up to ten times!)?
But the facts and figures speak for themselves. One thing you can be sure of though, Mrs. Brown's Boys D'Movie will feature in the second half of the year, it took in over €1 million in its opening weekend alone.
