Emily Blunt still "in awe" of Meryl Streep

Emily Blunt has described her Into the Woods co-star Meryl Streep as an "inspiration" to her.

Blunt said that she is still "in awe" of Streep, who she first worked with on The Devil Wears Prada in 2006.

Speaking about their friendship on This Morning, 31-year-old Blunt said, "It doesn't mean I'm any less in awe - I still get so much inspiration from her.

"But I've known her now for almost ten years and she's become such a friend to me and has been so wonderful to me in this business."

Disney's Into the Woods hits cinemas on Friday.
