Birdman was the big winner at the Oscars on Sunday night, winning four awards, including Best Picture and Best Director. Favourites Eddie Redmayne and Julianne Moore won Best Actor and Actress for The Theory of Everything and Still Alice respectively.
The Alejandro Gonzalez Iñárritu-directed Birdman also won the awards for Best Original Screenplay and Best Cinematography.
The Grand Budapest Hotel was another quadruple Oscar winner on the night, winning Best Original Score, Production Design, Costume Design and Makeup and Hairstyling. Dublin-based graphic designer Annie Atkins was one of the design team on the Wes Anderson film.
With no surprises in the acting categories, JK Simmons won Best Supporting Actor for Whiplash and Patricia Arquette won Best Supporting Actress for Boyhood.

Ida was named Best Foreign Language Film, with Big Hero 6 winning Best Animated Feature.
