Nidge lands role in Bryan Cranston movie

Love/Hate star Tom Vaughan-Lawlor has landed a role in The Infiltrator alongside Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston. 

The 37-year-old Dublin born actor has been added to the cast list for The Infiltrator on movie site IMDB which will also star Diane Kruger and John Leguizamo.

The big budget thriller tells the story of a US Customs official who uncovers a money laundering scheme involving Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar.

Emmy-award winning actor Cranston, who played Walter White in Breaking Bad, will star as Robert Mazur. Vaughen-Lawlor is set to play Mazur's supervisor Steve Cook.

The Infiltrator will follow Mazur as he helps to bring down the unscrupulous bankers who manipulated complex international finance systems to serve drug lords - including Escobar - corrupt politicians and tax cheats.
