Corn Mill Theatre Group from Carrigallen in Co Leitrim were crowned RTÉ All Ireland Drama Festival Champions at an awards ceremony in Athlone on Saturday night for their production of The Devil's Céilí.
This is the group's third Perpetual Trophy win in their 19 appearances at the finals.
Ronan Ward directed Corn Mill's production of The Devil's Céilí by Philip Doherty and Kevin McGahern. Ward won the award for Best Director, with the production also honoured with the Abbey Theatre Award.
Pádraig Broe of the Moat Club, Naas was named Best Actor for The Steward of Christendom, while Helena Stout of Bradán Players, Leixlip was Best Actress for her performance in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?
Michelle Reade won the award for Best Supporting Actress and the RTÉ Fair City Award for her performance in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?.
Martin Fitzgerald of Thurles Drama Group was named Best Supporting Actor for A View from the Bridge.
